Your Varsity girls basketball team fought back from a 9 point deficit Monday in the cage against a pesky bunch from Merivale High School. The Jays were led on the score sheet by Sana abu-Oshaiba who paced the birds with 36 points. The Jays overcame some early defensive lapses to really shut down the Marauders in the second half. The teams hits the hardwood again on Wednesday hosting the blues from Brookfield in a 4 pm tilt.
The SGVB team continues to practice hard and put in the work getting ready for the season ahead! Looking forward to hosing volleyball again in the cage! Stay tuned for the season schedule.
